Dyna-Glo DGB390SNP-D  36,000 BTU 3-Burner Gas Grill

Dyna-Glo DGB390SNP-D Smart Space Living 36,000 BTU 3-Burner LP Gas Grill

Here we are, in a world that seems as if housing keeps shrinking. For some, this means they don’t get to have a large grill (if they can have any grill at all). However, after some research, I came across a good grill that you could use in a limited space – the Dyna-Glo DGB390SNPD.

This grill is small, and simple, but don’t let that fool you, because it is fully capable of cooking delicious food. It is a 3 burner grill and it has the basic features you need in order to cook.

In fact, when I compared it to some of the larger models on the market, I discovered that the Dyna-Glo DGB390SNP-D has all of the basic features that you would normally find in a large sized grill. It even has fold down tables, so you can easily store it away when you’re done with it.

Who is This Grill Suitable for?

This grill is suitable for people of all walks of life, but I could imagine those individuals that have a limited amount of space would greatly benefit from using it.

Features

Thermometer – This grill has a built-in thermometer that you can use in order to get a reading. I couldn’t help but to notice that it’s easy to read and doesn’t put a strain on the eyes.

Fold Down Tables – On the side, you will find fold-down tables. If you are limited on space, then this is a great feature to have. The tables are surprisingly sturdy and can hold up to around 25 pounds each. As an additional bonus, you’ll find some hooks on each table – the hooks are great for hanging cooking accessories and tools from.

Electronic Ignition – Whenever you want to use this grill, all you have to do is push the ignition button on the grill and it will start up. Take note that all three burners has its own push button to start it up.

Main Burners have 36k BTU – The main burners offer 36k BTU, which is plenty of heat to cook on a grill of this size. For hours on end, it is capable of maintaining a continuous high heat, which makes it great for grilling, searing, or if you like, smoking.

Removable Tray – Under the burners, you’ll find a removable tray and cup. This removable tray is there in order to make it easy for the user to clean up after they’re done cooking.

Grates – The grates are porcelain-coated cast iron. I personally like cast iron grates that have a porcelain coating, because they’re always easy to clean. Another good thing about porcelain coated cast iron grates is the fact that they are capable of holding in a lot of heat, and can give a nice sear to chicken wings, ribs, and steak.

Steel Construction – The construction of this grill isn’t going to let you down, so you’re not going to have any issues when it comes to that. As far as style goes, it is sleek, stylish, and of course, sturdy.

Propane or Natural Gas – When users are given the option to use either natural gas or propane, they have chosen a good grill. If you plan on placing the grill somewhere long term and you’re able to set up a gas main, then the natural gas option would be suitable for you.

A perk of using natural gas is the fact that you don’t have to routinely change out propane bottles when they are empty. Propane on the other hand, is great for those individuals that plan on moving the grill from place to place and don’t have access to a gas main – this makes it great for apartments that allow grills.

Cover – This grill comes with a nice cover, and it’s great for those that don’t have a garage to store the grill. When you have the cover on it, you can store the grill outside without worrying about it. With routine cleaning and maintenance, combined with a cover, the lifespan of the grill will be prolonged.

Cooking Space– Surely, you’re curious about the cooking space on this grill! The cooking space actually surprised me. Your primary grilling space is 290 square inches, but for secondary grilling, you have an additional 117 square inches to take advantage on.

Of course, this isn’t going to feed every single person in a large family at one time, but for a little grill that is capable of fitting almost anywhere, it’s perfect.

If you’re having a hard time with space, then the Dyna-Glo DGB390SNP-D is a great, affordable option for you. On this unit, you’re going to find all of the essentials you need in order to cook for a small group of people on your balcony or shared unit.

Sure, it doesn’t have all of those fancy bells and whistles, but in all actuality, it is still good because it is capable of getting the job done.

On another note, if you’re wondering about the assembly process, this grill can actually be assembled by one person and is one of the simplest grills to put together that I have ever came across.

Mind you, the grill isn’t going to feed a huge group of people all at one time, but that isn’t what it is designed for. It’s designed to be a basic grill, offering what you need in order to cook some amazing food in a small space.

For those that do not have a whole lot of space and are searching for a good grill, this unit is highly recommended. It can fit on almost any balcony, deck, or courtyard.

Dyna-Glo DGB515SDP-D 5 Burner Gas Grill Review

Dyna-Glo DGB515SDP-D 5 Burner Open Cart Propane Gas Grill

Next on the list, we have the Dyna-Glo DGB515SDP-D. This is a solid gas grill that has an affordable price tag on it, and it even has some nice extra features that I will tell you about in this review.

Who is This Grill Suitable for?

This grill would be great for those that are looking to feed a fairly large family, but of course, anyone would be able to benefit from this grill.

Features

Push-Button Ignition – The push-button makes starting this grill a breeze. Simply by pushing the button, you can start cooking in no time at all, and even better is the fact that it quickly heats up. In order for it to reach a temperature of 500 degrees Fahrenheit, it only took three minutes – this is faster than the average grill.

5 Burners – If you choose to get this grill, I’m certain you will be quite pleased with the 5 burners to cook on.

Side Burner – There’s a side burner that is great for cooking vegetables and other foods.

Cooking Space – As far as the cooking space goes, if you’re on the prowl for a whole lot of cooking space, then you’re going to love this grill.

For the primary cooking area, you’ll have a total of 530 square inches to cook on. To give you an idea of what you can cook in 530 square inches of cooking space – you can fit up to 24 burgers. Isn’t that a lot? The warming trap is capable of holding eight buns.

Stainless Steel Grates – The stainless steel grates on the Dyna-Glo DGB515SDP are great and durable. However, in order to clean them after each use, it will take some scrubbing, but that’s how most outdoor grills are, and there are some useful online tips regarding cleaning grill grates.

Pull-Out Propane Tank – On this model, the pull-out propane tank is a great feature.  This feature makes it easy for you to change out the propane tank when it runs empty.

The pull-out propane tank is the standout feature on this model, which is otherwise fairly standard. This is an uncommon feature that makes it very easy to set up and dismount the propane tank when it’s time to refuel.

It also has a side burner that’s great for cooking up stir-fried vegetables and other foods that may not easily lend themselves to grilling. You can also purchase rotisserie accessories separately for this grill.

This grill is capable of serving a large group of people with the capacity being 24 burgers at a time. It can quickly heat up, making it great if you’re in a hurry for some delicious food.

Comparing the heat retention to some of the best grills, this one right here has above average heat retention.  However, the grates may not be that good for thin meats due to the fact that they are spaced out, so when you’re cooking food like thin burgers, it is important that you take caution so that they do not slide through.

There may not be a whole lot of bells and whistles nesting behind this grill, but overall, it gets the job done and is fully capable of cooking super yummy food.

Dyna-Glo DGE Series 5 Burner Propane Grill Review

Dyna-Glo DGE Series Propane Grill, 5 Burner, Gunmetal

I’m not sure if you have noticed, but Dyna-Glo has been producing some good grills for awhile now, and it appears that as time goes by, they just keep getting better and better. A good example of this would be the Dyna-Glo DGE series – specifically the DGE530BSP-D.

Who is this Grill Suitable for?

This grill is suitable for those that like to host parties as it is capable of serving a large crowd, but as usual, it is suitable for everyone.

Features

62k BTU – This is a propane gas grill that is capable of putting out 62,000 total BTUs.

5-Burner – On this grill, you will have a total of 5-burners to cook on, which is basically like the standard kitchen stove.

Ignition – The grill has a quick start button that is based on electronic pulse. Once you push the button, the grill will start heating up and you will be on your way to cooking some amazing food.

Cooking Space – I believe with the cooking space offering 708 square inches of cooking space, you will have more than enough space for cooking. To give you an idea of what this grill can handle – it can handle up to 28 hamburger patties at one time.

Flexible – The stainless steel burner that is located on the side offers different heat ranges, making it so that you can cook different foods and sauces that require both low and high temperatures.

The Surface – The heavy duty surface is something that really stands out from the crowd. It has stainless steel rod grates and finish that will retain heat and transfer it directly to your food.

Since the grates have a matte-enameled finish, it is easy to clean up and take care of. I noticed that the grates do a fine job at locking in the natural juices from the food – your food will be vaporized with the fallen juices.

Warming rack – With this grill, you will have a warming wrack, which is perfect for keeping your food (and buns) warm.

Propane Tank – When it comes time to change out the propane tank, you’re not going to have any problems. The tank sits on a tray that can easily slide out, making for easy access.

Thermometer – The grill has a built-in thermometer so that you can keep track of the temperature.

If you choose to buy this grill, you can rest with the satisfaction of knowing you have enough cooking space that is capable of serving your family. This way, you will be able to grill, while enjoying your picnic, party, or vacations.

Dyna-Glo DGB730SNB-D Dual Fuel Grill Review

Dyna-Glo DGB730SNB-D Dual Fuel Grill

There are times where you have a craving for charcoal grilled food, then there are times when you don’t feel like dealing with charcoal and would prefer laying a slab of meat on a flat surface and cooking it over a nice propane flame. In this next review, I’m going to be introducing you to the Dyna-Glo DGB730SNB-D.

Who is this Grill Suitable for?

While this grill is great for everyone, it is suitable for those that just can’t figure out whether they want a propane grill and a gas grill. Why is this, you may ask?   This is because the Dyna-Glo DGB730SNB-D is both a propane grill and a charcoal grill. That’s right, on one side, you have a charcoal grill, and on the other side, you have a propane grill.

The Propane Side of the Grill

In this review, I’d like to discuss each side of the grill, before we talk about the features. Let’s start with the propane side of the grill …

Here, we have two stainless steel elements. Each one of the elements is capable of generating 12,000 BTU’s, for a total of 24,000 BTU’s of heat. If you’re familiar with grills, you’d know that this is more than enough to handle almost any grilling needs.

Both burners have their own control knobs, and they can be started with the electric igniter. Just take note that the igniter will require one AAA battery, which surprisingly is included with the grill.

For improved safety, it is CSA rated. However, it is only capable of taking one type of gas – propane. This means that if you want to use natural gas, conversion isn’t available at this time for this grill.

The Charcoal Side of the Grill

On the charcoal side of the grill, you’ll find a coal box that is adjustable – it has holes in the bottom of it, which are responsible for the airflow. If you want, you can raise the coal box up so that you can sear your food, and lower it in order to grill meat that would benefit from slow and low heat.

On the side, there are shelves that fold down, making it easy to store. On each one of the side shelves, there are two tool hooks, so you can hang your cooking accessories and tools from it, making it convenient to reach them.

Features

Work Space – With the side tables, you have more than enough work space. The side tables make a great place to put your containers and plates while you’re grilling.

Each one of the side tables can support up to 25 pounds, and the hooks on the table can hold the tools. There’s also towel bars, which help free up space even more.

Set the Temperature – The charcoal tray can easily be adjusted to either raise up or go down. This is a great way to adjust the temperature.

Start Button – To get started cooking on the propane side, all you have to do is push a button and you’ll be ready to go.

Grates – The grates are made of porcelain enameled cast-iron, which are perfect to cook on – the grates will transfer that heat directly to the food you’re cooking.

If you’re having a hard time choosing either charcoal or propane because you like both, then this Dyna-Glo Dual grill is great for you.

Conclusion

Each one of the grills on this list have been researched from top to bottom, so if you were to choose one that I reviewed, you can rest with the satisfaction of knowing you made the right choice.

Which grill should you choose? That is fully up to you, but if you’re looking for a small grill, I recommend the Dyna-Glo DGB390SNP-D grill, but if you are mixed between charcoal or propane, then go for the Dyna-Glo DGB730SNB-D, because it can be both – a charcoal and propane grill.
